County Raceway: Outlaws set to shine at Yanks: Dave
‘Fuzzie’ McKenzie has suggested an alternative drag racing
weekend for all nostalgia fans. The supercharged Outlaws will be
running at this weekends Yanks/Gary’s Picnic at Shakespeare County
Raceway this coming bank holiday. If slingshots dragsters, altereds,
funny cars and wild doorslammers are for you then Shakey is the
place to be. This is the second round of the Outlaws 2010 series and
we will have ten cars on show including Steve Goode’s stunning new
funny car called ‘Ghost Train’. This is a freshly imported car
from the States with Steve and his crew burning the midnight oil
working on it all winter. The car is an ex Gordie Bonin/Whit
Bazemore nitro funny car with a Tom Hoover rear end,” says Dave.
